Ping Pong – campaign graphics

As with a considerable number of our clients, we've continued to work with Ping Pong for a good few years. Each year we produce graphics for their major campaigns for the festive period and the Chinese New Year.

Every set of campaign collateral has different challenges aligned to each. The benefit of having a long standing relationship with a client is the knowledge gathered over the years. It means we're aware of any particular quirks a restaurant may have. This means we can take them into consideration when installing graphics.

For example, the main windows at the St Christoper's Place restaurant is divided into numerous thin panes of glass. It's important to work with the creative agency so they are aware of the panel sizes including the frames in between. This ensures the graphics are artworked correctly and the print produced fits the available space without issue. What's the point of accruing knowledge if it's not shared for the benefit of others?

The Ping Pong windows are produced using either cut vinyl or printed vinyl cut to shape. This of course depends on the creative. Flat colours are generally produced using off the shelf vinyl. If the colour isn't available, or the creative uses imagery or multiple colours, graphics will be printed before cut to shape.

Sometimes props are used as part of the display. For the 'it's choppy outside' festive windows, we also produced 500 hanging ornaments to accompany the cut vinyl. These were stars made from actual Ping Pong chopsticks. We were supplied 2,000 pairs of chopstick by the restaurant which were first painted, the glued into a star. Our installers hung the chopstick stars on the inside of the glass using a supplied window layout as a guide.

It's not just window graphics we produce. We also print and distribute A Board graphics to the restaurants which are used alongside the glass campaign graphics.

Pavement point of sale is a valuable and impactful way to get the public's attention. Simple A Board signs with eye catching graphics do the trick very well.
