Point of sale Christmas graphics

Not everything we produce is large, at least not in size. We were asked by EAT to produce the display point of sale graphics for their 2016 Christmas campaign. This included direct to media print and cut festive fridge shapes, and white ink self adhesive glass tank strips. Fortunately, we have the print production kit in our West London site to make short work of a job of this size.

Christmas star display, made with Foamex

First to produce were the cut to shape festive pieces. These were printed directly onto sheets of 3mm foamex, a hard wearing plastic type substrate. They were then cut to shape using the artwork cutter guide on our Kongsburg digital cutter.

Next up were the graphics for the EAT restaurant glass cabinets. These are strips of festive shapes printed to clear window cling. This method ensures that it’s easy for the store staff to install and adjust themselves. These cabinet graphics were printed using white ink and then cut to size and shape for precision on our super fast and accurate CNC router. You can see this in action in the video below.

Another vital service we’re often asked to do for our clients is distribution. We often collate, pack and deliver the graphics safely to their various end locations. An accurate spreadsheet and diligence go a long way when it comes to this final piece of the job. It’s vital that each store receives exactly the right graphics they have been allocated by the visual merchandising manager.

Capacity for large volume point of sale display graphics

In total The Graphical Tree team produced, packed and distributed a vast amount of Christmas point of sale graphics collateral. This totaled 2,886 direct to media print and cut 3mm Foamex shapes (962 stars, 962 trees, and 962 reindeer). Along with over 200 white ink to optically clear printed glass tank strips, this came to over 3,000 units.
